Physics Reasercher
Postdoctoral Researcher in the ComplexSimplex group at the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics, Tallinn, Estonia.
I am a physicist specialized in complex systems, with expertise in nonlinear dynamics and spatial modeling applied to biological and sociophysical systems. My academic background includes a Bachelor's degree from UFF (Brazil), with an academic exchange at the Universidad de Valladolid (Spain), and a Master's and Ph.D. from PUC-Rio (Brazil). My postdoctoral research at ICTP-SAIFR (Brazil) focused on microbial populations under flow and the effects of home range on critical habitat sizes. I am currently investigating language dynamics at the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics (Estonia). My research interests include opinion dynamics, pattern formation, population models, and socio-dynamical processes.
