Vivian Dornelas, PhD
Physics Reasercher
Postdoctoral Researcher in the ComplexSimplex group at the National Institute of Chemical Physics and Biophysics, Tallinn, Estonia.
I have a Bachelor's in Physics from the Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF, Brazil), and a Master's and Ph.D. in Physics from the PontifÃcia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio, Brazil). My master's research focused on modeling opinion dynamics in complex networks. For my Ph.D. studies, I worked on pattern formation in biological systems, both in homogeneous and heterogeneous landscapes, applying techniques of non-linear dynamical systems. My research interests include topics in complex systems with application to biological problems, such as population dynamics and pattern formation.
